The end of the soap box Derby

My friend Karla has graciously kicked the soapbox out from under me, and I think perhaps she was right to do so. I'm sure it'll take a little bit of time before the new Democrats in office will piss me off enough, that I have something to say about their incompetence. And I'm sure it will only be a matter of weeks before they managed to accomplish this goal. Well, recently, I had the privilege of visiting Oklahoma, and from what I've seen it's quite a beautiful state. Of course I did notice one thing that was very interesting, everybody in Oklahoma seems to be a sooners fan. And to think all this time, I thought Karla was the only sooners fan out there, boy was I wrong!... LOL
Well, for those of you who were probably wondering, yes, I am already out on the road. Traveling, seeing new places, and meeting new people, fixing computers along the way. As a matter of fact, the little motel I'm staying in tonight, has some problems with the location of a wireless router I've been asked to help re-cable and relocate the router to a more central position. I've also discovered while driving cross-country truck drivers seem to have the most problems with their laptops, I guess with some of these long-haul truck drivers. There's not much to do in the cab of the truck except look at porn. And let me tell you some of these computers are porned up good! It's my personal hope that their viewing the porn while there stopped in the evening taking a rest, and not watching it as they're doing 75 miles an hour down the interstate. I realize some of these truckers are very talented behind the wheel of a vehicle, but manipulating the truck, a laptop computer, and yourself at 75 miles an hour, I believe is beyond anybody's ability, no matter how talented they are! But I'm sure some of them have tried...
One of the saddest things I've seen on my trip so far was my stop over in New Orleans these people are stil hurting, their Superdome is back up and running it looks quite beautiful but the rest of the town is in shambles. I drove all through the ninth ward, through downtown New Orleans, and the French quarter. The French quarter looks like it's been cleaned up, But not much else has been done to help these poor people. And don't even get me started on the condition of the roads, Louisiana has some of the worst roads I have ever driven on in my life! I was absolutely amazed the minute I crossed the Louisiana Texas border, the roads in Texas are a thousand times better than the roads in Louisiana. Well that's all for now signing off from Wichita Falls Texas...

The Superdome issue doesn't surprise me at all. It's simply an obvios statement of where the powers-that-be have placed their selfish priorities.

Notice how nothing is mentioned anymore by the media regarding the missing and relocated folks from New Orleans?

Travel safely, my friend.

And watch your back.
